Who Are We?

A member of the Australian owned and operated “Watson Curnow Group”, AS Services commenced trading in Melbourne in 2002. The primary focus of the new business was in general fabrication work and the Height Safety industry. In the ensuing years, the company has expanded in its product offer and geographic area of influence. It is now comprised of distinct two business teams under the one umbrella:

  1. Engineered Products and;
  2. Technical Services.

Our Engineered Products business continues to focus on specialised fabrication and provides tailor-made solutions for Capital Works and Maintenance based projects across a broad range of industries. Our Technical Services business provides expertise predominantly in Height Access Systems with our main focus being in the fields of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) and Fall Protection Systems.

We strive for our business to be a market leader in our sector and provide opportunities for our people and stakeholders through excellence in contracting services, whilst achieving our customer’s expectations through innovation and the delivery of timely projects within budget, to high standards of quality and environmental sustainability and meeting all safety and regulatory targets.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]

Looking to the Future

Plans are in place for 2021 to formally separate the two Divisions to ensure strategic clarity for growth, focused allocation of resources to enhance business processes and practices and minimal business risk.

  • Engineered Products Division (Access Safety Services Pty Ltd) will concentrate on Specialised Fabrication projects together with Capital Works & Maintenance Fabrication Works for the Construction Materials sector.
  • Technical Services Division (Watson Curnow Pty Ltd) will manage Wind Turbine Generators, Height Access Systems and Aerial Ropeways.
