Horizontal lifelines are a common, but critical aspect to many height safety systems. Access Safety Services have been manufacturing and installing horizontal lifelines for many years, now supplying components from leading manufacturers 3M Fall Protection, Honeywell, Sayfa and SafetyLink.
Access Safety Services are also able to manufacture and install the range of prescribed systems in accordance with AS/NZS 1891 “Industrial fall-arrest systems” including design input for support structure loads.
Horizontal rail systems
Horizontal rail systems are perfect or work positioning during height access activities like gutter cleaning on sloped or curved roofs.
Horizontal rail systems for industrial fall protection feature a low profile design which is perfect for heritage buildings, or other applications where the equipment needs to be kept out of sight. Rail systems can also be configured for industrial rope access, to provide access for window washing, façade repair or access during glazing replacement.
For industrial applications, rail system can be wall- our overhead-mounted, offering additional protection on narrow or unguarded walkways.
Access Safety Services are an approved installation for 3M Australia’s Unirail horizontal rail systems.
Custom anchorage points for fall restraint, fall protection and industrial rope access
Access Safety Services can supply a range of fixed anchorages for height access activities. We specialise in custom anchorages for difficult applications, providing design, engineering, manufacture, installation and testing of anchors for fall protection and industrial rope access. Whether it’s access methodologies, calculating fall distances or determining anchor ratings, Access Safety Services’ in-house technical staff pride themselves on being able to solve the most problematic access problems.
Inspection, testing and tagging
For existing fall protection systems, supplied by Access Safety Services or another contractor, we are able to audit, inspect, test and re-certify lifelines, rails and fixed anchorage. Annual inspection and certification of fall protection and industrial rope access systems is required at twelve-month intervals in accordance with AS/NZS 1891 “Industrial fall protection systems’ and AS/NZS 4488 ‘Industrial rope access systems. All of our inspections are supplied with reports, test records and photographic documentation, meaning you can be sure that your height access systems are safe and compliant for use.
Access Safety Services are also able to supply all of your working safely at heights Personnel Protecting Equipment (PPE), including harnesses, lanyards, inertia reels and more.
